Zagrożenia zdrowotne związane z tatuowaniem skóry człowieka

Health risks related to human skin tattooing

Praca omawia tematykę trwałego zdobienia ciała za pomocą pigmentu wprowadzonego w głębsze warstwy skóry. Jej celem jest przedstawienie zagrożeń zdrowotnych związanych z tatuowaniem skóry człowieka.
Opisano budowę i mechanizm działania układu immunologicznego skóry. Dokonano charakterystyki tatuażu z uwzględnieniem procesu jego wykonywania, rodzaju stosowanych pigmentów, przeciwwskazań i zaleceń pozabiegowych oraz przedstawiono procedurę usuwania tatuażu i zakrycia starego nowym (cover tatuażu)
Wyróżniono zagrożenia związane z procesem tatuowania (czynniki infekcyjne, alergie, intoksykacja i uszkodzenia mechaniczne) i zagrożenia pozabiegowe (wpływ promieniowania świetlnego, migracje tuszu, zmiany w układzie immunologicznym i nowotworowe).
Ponadto zaprezentowano metody pielęgnacji skóry pokrytej tatuażem.

The paper discusses the topic of permanent body decoration using pigment introduced into the deeper layers of the skin. Its aim is to present the health risks associated with tattooing human skin.
The structure and mechanism of the skin's immune system are described. The tattoo is characterized, taking into account the process of its execution, the type of pigments used, contraindications and post-treatment recommendations, and the procedure for removing a tattoo and covering the old one with a new one (cover tattoo) is presented.
The risks associated with the tattooing process (infectious factors, allergies, intoxication and mechanical damage) and post-treatment risks (the impact of light radiation, ink migration, changes in the immune system and neoplastic diseases) are distinguished.
In addition, methods of caring for skin covered with a tattoo are presented.
