Celem pracy jest opracowanie koncepcji integracji transportu kolejowego i rowerowego na terenie gminy Strzegom, sprzyjającej rozwojowi zrównoważonej mobilności oraz poprawie dostępności transportu publicznego w codziennych podróżach mieszkańców. Zakres opracowania obejmuje ocenę stanu istniejącej infrastruktury kolejowej i rowerowej oraz identyfikację barier ograniczających efektywne łączenie obu form transportu.

W pracy wskazano na niedostateczny standard zagospodarowania stacji i przystanków kolejowych, brak infrastruktury typu Bike & Ride, ograniczoną dostępność dla osób o ograniczonej mobilności oraz nieciągłość połączeń rowerowych prowadzących do kolei. Jednocześnie podkreślono potencjał integracyjny gminy wynikający ze zwartej struktury przestrzennej oraz funkcjonowania kolei regionalnej.

Na podstawie przeprowadzonych rozważań zaproponowano zestaw rozwiązań infrastrukturalnych, organizacyjnych i cyfrowych, obejmujących m.in. modernizację infrastruktury stacyjnej, rozwój systemu Bike & Ride, wdrożenie bike-sharingu oraz działania wspierające planowanie podróży multimodalnych. Wnioski z pracy wskazują, że integracja transportu kolejowego i rowerowego może znacząco zwiększyć atrakcyjność transportu publicznego i poprawić funkcjonowanie lokalnego systemu transportowego.

The aim of this thesis is to develop a concept for integrating rail and bicycle transport in the Municipality of Strzegom, supporting the development of sustainable mobility and improving the accessibility of public transport for residents’ daily travel. The scope of the study includes an assessment of the existing rail and cycling infrastructure and the identification of barriers limiting the effective integration of these two modes of transport.

The study identifies an insufficient standard of development of railway stations and stops, a lack of Bike & Ride facilities, limited accessibility for people with reduced mobility, and discontinuities in cycling connections leading to rail infrastructure. At the same time, the integration potential of the municipality is highlighted, resulting from its compact spatial structure and the operation of regional rail as a stable mode of public transport.

Based on the findings, a set of infrastructural, organisational, and digital solutions is proposed, including the modernisation of station infrastructure, the development of Bike & Ride facilities, the implementation of a bike-sharing system, and measures supporting multimodal travel planning. The conclusions indicate that the integration of rail and bicycle transport can significantly enhance the attractiveness of public transport and improve the performance of the local transport system.
